An artist's impression has been released of how a partially-built eyesore will look once work is complete after a new owner took on the problem-plagued project.
Integritas Property Group (IPG) has taken over the six-storey Sky Building on the site of the former Jubilee Baths which has remained an unfinished blot on Newcastle town centre's landscape since 2017 when its original developer ran out of money.
The company has revealed its vision for 'high-spec' student accommodation for both Keele and Staffordshire universities as well as NHS staff at the nearby Royal Stoke University Hospital.
And the development in Brunswick Street has been given the new name of Deakin’s Yard after prominent former resident Fanny Deakin, a notable politician from Newcastle-under-Lyme.
