A warm welcome from me, Luke Gribben, Business Development Manager at Integritas Property Group.
The scaffolding is finally coming down, and after seven months of intense construction work, the façade is beginning to show, revealing the true beauty of this landmark development. As furniture packs are being installed, in line with our carefully considered design specifications, the communal spaces have truly taken shape over the summer, creating welcoming environments for future residents.
All statutory sign-offs are nearly complete, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming our new tenants as soon as the necessary certificates are received.
At Integritas Property Group, we remain deeply committed to the regeneration of Newcastle-under-Lyme, with a focus on attracting investment into the town centre. Deakin’s Yard, once a neglected and unsightly building, is now transforming into a vibrant student development that we are immensely proud of.
While we narrowly missed our ambitious 10-month build schedule and the crucial September deadline by a few weeks, this short delay provides us with a valuable opportunity.
Rather than leaving the building vacant for another 12 months, we can use this time to soft-test the building’s systems and services, ensuring everything is perfect for its future residents.
Deakin’s Yard is set to become a focal point for the local community and a benchmark for student accommodation that will stand the test of time.
I’d just like to say a special thank you to all of our investors, who have been instrumental in bringing this project to the local market.
So, that’s it from us for today; we look forward to bringing you the next update from Deakin’s Yard in four weeks’ time.
