Cavendish Waters Construction Update - August 2023

A warm welcome to all our stakeholders and potential investors to our Cavendish Waters update for August 23.

Our ground investigation team are carrying out further investigations this week, forming trial pits to determine the substrata in various key areas of the site.

These investigations should enable the ground floor structural floor slab solution to be adopted, reducing time and, most importantly, reducing the amount of waste from site to landfill.

We eagerly await the feedback from this investigation in a matter of days to confirm the final foundation design. This will then be passed on to the Rivers and Canal Trust for sign-off; with whom the scheme is already registered with their engineers.

Once sign-off has been received, we hope to start on-site with our groundworks team in September 23, as per our draft programme works and in line with our target completion date of Q3 2024.

Off-site we can confirm negotiations are progressing onwards with our tier 1 funding partner, with who we are already in partnership with at another scheme.The team have also negotiated a competitive 10-year structural warranty quote from our trusted provider who we have adopted on other schemes.
